Lying down is not required. It does promote relaxation for the receiver in most cases as well as ease and comfort for the Access Energetic Facelift  giver. If lying down flat is a problem, a reclining chair or lawn chair (“zero gravity recliner”) can also work.

What happens in an Access Energetic Facelift session?

What happens with the treatments is that each one builds on the last. So you do a treatment and you see changes take place right away as well as over the next couple of days as things integrate in.

What is happening is that the person is letting go of the judgments and beliefs that are holding the signs of aging in place. The more they let go of the more the face (and body) can tap into the re-generative processes which allows the cells to do things like produce more collagen, hold more moisture. So, how the process looks for you the therapist is that you place your hands on different positions of the chest, neck, head and face and you intend for the specific energy frequencies (which you will learn in the class and in your manual) as you hold your hands in these positions.  Energy work is actually very simple, it follows your thoughts and intentions.

It will be up to you as to whether you utilize this on clients, however I would doubt you would not use this on yourself after the class. I have been treating my body since learning this. With any energy work it is more dynamic when someone else works on you (just like giving yourself a massage) but it also works.  After the class you are welcome to join our exchange nights so that you can get someone to work on you.
